Sicirec Foundation was founded on August 10, 2007 and is registered at the Chamber of Commerce in Meppel, the Netherlands under number 04087659.

The board of directors does not receive any payment from Sicirec Foundation. Instead, Sicirec Foundation makes use of services, office and employees of Sicirec Group at no charge. All gifts and donations will be fully spent on the Foundation's projects.
Annual reports
In its annual reports Sicirec Foundation reports on how donations have been spent and on its projects.
The annual reports are prepared in accordance with the "Reporting regulations for fund raising institutions" and are subject to audit by an accountant. The first financial year ended 31 December 2009.
